Dr George Stubos, Researcher, Research Department, Bank of Greece

George Stubos holds a BA (1981) and an MA (1983) fromYork University in Toronto and a PhD (1988) in Political Economy from the University of Toronto. He taught atYorkUniversityfrom 1985 to 1998. Since 1998, Dr Stubos has been working for the Bank of Greece as an economic advisor. In this capacity, he has travelled extensively in the Balkan region and has participated in many conferences, meetings and seminars focusing on the transition experience. He is the author of several articles in refereed journals and contributor to collective volumes focusing on financial sector transition issues in Southeastern European economies. His recent work has mainly appeared in institutional publications. Dr Stubos has been teaching on the Postgraduate Programme for the past fourteen years.
