The Master’s Programme in “Southeast European Studies” in collaboration with the Master’s Programme in “International and European Studies” of the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration of the University of Athens have the pleasure to invite you to a lecture by Tassos Anastassiadis, Assistant Professor of History & Phrixos B. Papachristidis Chair in Modern Greek Studies, McGill University, Montreal, Canada on “Growing up modern in SE Europe & the Eastern Mediterranean: Educational Globalization, its untoward effects and discontent: Lessons from the past for a troubled present (19th-21st c.)”.

Tassos Anastassiadis has studied and taught in Greece, the USA, France and Canada and published on questions of religion, education and know-how trasfers in French, English, Greek, Spanish, Turkish, Italian and Russian thus getting a first-hand experience of both the profits and discontent stemming from educational globalization.
